Yeah, you can look for collab partners in the "Collabinator." Go Art>Team Up! and you'll find http://www.newgrounds.com/collab/browse/artist
You can also check the forums. The Art Forum has collab and art trade posts every so often [Community>Forums>Art Forum] http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/forum/14 but the general forum has things sometimes too.
And yes, it kinda does look like pizza. My suggestion would be to change her hair to white and change most of the dress to white. That will counteract the chocolate syrup aspect, but it'll make it clearer. Make the sprinkles more colorful so they're identifiable as sprinkles and you've got yourself a soft serve pixel girl. :)

The soft serve gal was really great, though the other reviewer was kinda right, almost looks like a pizza dress, maybe saturate the color of each frame, so the chocolate looks... hm like dark soft serve chocolate, if there is such a critter O_O Very minor quibble, the animation was pixel perfect.
You know, by the time someone/collab comes along looking for help, you'll likely be busy with real life, Murphy's law or something :p If you look here http://www.newgrounds.com/calendar you'll see the site's major holidays... there's nothing to stop you from organizing an artist's thing for something down the road. It's good to get a jump on things early, and a lot of the collab organizers of old seem to have gone silent.
Maybe @exedor or @renaenae could provide additional insight, but that's what I've gathered so far. I'm also sure you can find a competent programmer that could program a Flash/game interface to make the art work more mulitmedia in nature.
That's the fun part about this place; creative people reaching out to one another, to create something that wouldn't exist without internet or electricity... it's like all the hopes and dreams of the early 20th century have finally come to pass *ramble*

Sorry for the late response! Yeah, I'll go back and revisit that piece one day. I think amping up the contrast will help or if I just simplified the design, huah huah. It might be better if I just reduced the amount of colours I used, hmm.
Thank you for the link! I'll totally look into future holidays and strategize projects more deliberately. It's also a good skill to develop! I'd love to see my work presented in a way that's more interactive (not that there's anything wrong with static images, it'd just be an exciting avenue to explore).
I enjoy your ramble huah huah! It's a lot easier to network and provide creative opportunities for yourself and others within a community. I'm excited to hone my skills within that context.
